This Privacy Policy explains how Dice Drop (“Dice Drop”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with our website at dicedrop.co.uk and our mobile apps (together, the “Services”). Dice Drop is a free 3D dice roller operated by AppFloe Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales, which is the data controller. We handle data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
AppFloe Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through Dice Drop. Dice Drop is available on the web (dicedrop.co.uk/roll) and as an Android app (com.appfloe.dicedrop), with an iOS version coming soon. You can contact us about privacy at any time at support@dicedrop.co.uk.
Data stored on your device (not on our servers)
Dice Drop does not require an account. Your roll history, chosen dice, colours and “looks”, sound and other settings are stored locally in your browser storage or on your device only. This information is not transmitted to us and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser storage, or uninstalling the app, permanently deletes it.
Information collected when you use the Services
- Information you give us. If you email us or contact support, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
- Purchase information. If you buy an optional unlock, our payment partners process the transaction and share limited details with us (see “Purchases” below). We never receive your full card details.
- Advertising and technical data. Our advertising partners may collect device and usage data, cookies and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, as described under “Advertising”. This may include your IP address, device type, operating system and general region.
We do not knowingly collect more personal data than we need, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information.
Purchases
Dice Drop is free; some cosmetic or feature unlocks are optional purchases.
- Web purchases are processed by Stripe. At checkout your email address is captured, and your email plus which unlock you bought is stored so the purchase can be restored on your device. Stripe handles your card details; we never see or store them. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- App purchases (Android and, in future, iOS) are handled by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store together with RevenueCat, which stores purchase receipts and an anonymous app-user identifier so purchases can be validated and restored. Advertising
Dice Drop is funded by advertising.
- Website ads are served through Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar technologies. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- App ads are served through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising identifier (the Google Advertising ID on Android, or the IDFA on iOS). This includes ad interaction data such as impressions and clicks, used to serve and measure ads. On iOS you will see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and can decline tracking.
Both are Google products governed by Google’s Privacy & Terms. If you are in the EEA or UK, we show a Google-certified consent message before non-essential advertising cookies or identifiers are used. Our Cookie Policy explains the cookies and storage involved.
How to control ads
- Manage or turn off personalised advertising in your Google account at Google Ad Settings.
- Opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings — Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies

Legal bases (UK GDPR / GDPR)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: consent (for non-essential advertising cookies and identifiers, which you may withdraw at any time); performance of a contract (to complete and restore purchases you request); legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the Services and to serve non-personalised ads); and legal obligation (to meet our legal and tax duties).
International users
We are based in the United Kingdom, and some of our providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
Children
Dice Drop is a general-audience product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 where required locally). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
Data retention
Data stored locally on your device remains until you clear your browser storage or uninstall the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your query. Purchase records (email and unlock purchased, held by us and our payment partners) are kept for as long as needed to let you restore purchases and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email support@dicedrop.co.uk.
Requesting deletion of your data
You can delete the data Dice Drop stores on your device yourself at any time by clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the app. To request deletion of any data we hold that is linked to you (for example a purchase record tied to your email), email support@dicedrop.co.uk from the address concerned and we will action it in line with our legal obligations. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed, and continued use of the Services means you accept the current version.
